Meet the Team
Team 316 LUNATECS is a competitive, FIRST robotics, high school-level, community-based team in Carneys Point, NJ. They have students from roughly 6 different schools in New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. What is FIRST
FIRST ( For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization that inspires students to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through hands-on learning. Its robotics programs challenge students to design, build, and program robots while developing teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Through competitions and collaborative projects, participants gain real-world engineering experience and learn to apply technical knowledge in creative ways. FIRST helps prepare students for future education and careers in STEM fields.
